Community Futures North Okanagan is a community-based not-for-profit corporation offering a comprehensive selection of business and employer services, employment assistance services, and economic development as determined and required by local and regional communities.

Community Futures North Okanagan has been involved in community economic development activities since 1984 and was established to assist the community to find local solutions to complex economic issues. Community economic development is based on a philosophy that local decision-making on local opportunities and challenges are the most effective means to help communities take a leadership role in defining their futures and achieving sustainable development.

Rooted firmly in the community, CF North Okanagan serves the geographical region located at the north end of the Okanagan Valley, encompassing the communities of Armstrong, Cherryville, Coldstream, Enderby, Grindrod, Spallumcheen, Lumby and Vernon, as well as the Okanagan Indian Band and Splatsin First Nation.

Part of CF’s commitment to a high quality of service has been its ISO 9001 Certification. Since 1999, CF has met requirement for certification by the International Organization of Standardization which ensures a level of consistency and reliability in its services.
