An overview of the Okanagan labour market regarding information on finding careers in “trades and apprenticeships”.

Labour Market Information
Assists individuals in the ability to acquire and utilize labour market information in a successful job search.

Attitude is Everything
Provides participants with effective communication and customer service skills and examines the importance of a positive attitude.

Creating Career Possibilities (CCP)
This career decison making workshop is available every month. Creating Career Possibilities will assist individuals through a logical, step-by-step process to evaluate their career and educational needs and opportunties. Using assessment tools, group exercises and assignments, CCP assists job seekers in understand how their skills, interests, aptitudes and experiences relate to their employment planning.

Job Action
An action-oriented job search that assists job ready individuals with tools, resources and coaching to be successful in their job search. Résumé help, interview skills, discovering the hidden job market, group dynamics and other activities contribute to this very effective program.
