Trades Information

At Employment Options we provide specialized services for trades related employment and training interests. In addition to this web resource, your trades related interests can be discussed with one of our Employment Counsellors. Your counselor may then arrange to have you meet one-to-one with our Trades Coordinator. Specific services include:

• the opportunity to attend a trades information workshop
• assessments of your practical, technical and essential trades skill levels
• examining how your current trades skills may transfer to other trades
• having your current trades skills documented in a professional report
• helping you to generate trades-specific resumes for your job search
• helping you to use key trades-related information for career decisions
• assistance to access free tutoring services
• assistance with trades job searches, including lists of local trades employers
• information on pursuing apprenticeships
• addressing your other trades-related questions
