Employment Options works in partnership with other community employment services and will provide effective guidance through your process of entering the workforce. The program can provide career and employment counselling and assist you in determining your work abilities and preferences. Employment counsellors will work with you "one to one" in creating a plan of action based on your individual needs for your successful job search.

All Employment Options services are available without cost to all unemployed residents of the North Okanagan who are legally entitled to work in Canada and are seeking employment.

In addition to having access to the assistance of one of our employment counsellors, Employment Options regularly features several half-day employability workshops designed to meet your potential needs.

North Okanagan Employment Services Resource Guide
In April and September of 2005, Community Futures produced and distributed a resource guide of selected employment assistance services throughout the entire North Okanagan. This guide was created to assist people of the North Okanagan to become aware and understand some of the services and programs available in the Region. This guide included information on a variety of employment assistance programs, the eligibility requirements for these programs and the process to access the services that may be right for the clients to help them get back into the workforce.
